WaMu Cards – Great Credit Cards for People Who Enjoy Online Banking!!
The Washington Mutual online banking interface is not just good for managing your Washington Mutual savings. The WaMu online banking interface is also great for managing your WaMu cards. The Mastercard issued Washington Mutual credit cards are great addition to your WaMu savings account and WaMu checking account.
If you don’t already have a Washington Mutual Platinum Credit Card, this article will highlight some of the pertinent features you should know. If you already do your banking through the WaMu online banking website, you will be familiar with a lot of what is discussed in this wamu cards article.
Washington Mutual credit card holders can use the wamucards.com website to manage their WaMu credit cards. The wamucards.com site will allow you to see your most recent transactions and allow you to pay your bill online. This is perfect for any current washington mutual online banking user because the wamucards.com website is integrated with the general wamu.com site.
The Washington Mutual MasterCard does not have any monthly fees or annual fees. This is a great way to get a free credit card. You should never pay money for a credit card. That is what paying interest is for. To tell you the truth, I am always looking to get out of paying interest too by finding zero interest credit card promotions.
In addition to being able to monitor your recent purchases with your WaMu cards, the wamucards.com site also allows you to monitor your FICO score. This is an awesome feature. I don’t know of any online banks other than Washington mutual online banking that allows you to see your FICO score. If you know of other banks that give you a free credit report, please share this with us in the comments below.
If you do you banking with wamu online banking, check out the wamu cards. You can find out more information about these WaMu cards at the Washington Mutual online banking website.
I have three WAMU credit cards which I rarely use. My last bill was on card ending in 7226. Why would I use them when your APR is more than twice the 9.90% I pay on other cards. Based on my credit score,
rating and how I pay my bills, your rates are rediculous. I guess you feel that to charge high rates and get no business is better than being competative. Just thought you should know how a customer thinks. Thank you.
I have the same situation as Dan. I called WaMu and asked them since i was of good credit standing with them to lower my Apr. The customer service rep. reply was this is the best we can do . This is the way it is. Welp, I transfered my balance and I no longer have to make outlandish payments to WAMU.. The card I transfered onto said that they accepted many of WAMU’s customers . So WaMu you are doing yourself in or you need to better inform your costomer service reps. It is like a slap in the face for a good customer to be treated and taken advantage of when you have an account with WAMU. I will be closing my account. Thank You
My rate was raised from 11.99 to 28.9 because I was late twice in a year, even though I pay more than twice the monthly amount due. I explained that my mail got screwed up when I moved, and they didn’t want to hear it. They refuse to lower it again, and I’m really screwed with this rate, but when I pay this card off I’ll never deal with them again. 28% used to be considered loan-sharking. Now it’s just good WAMU banking business, I guess.
Same problem as Pearl, Mike and Dan; good customer since 2000, have never been late, have a good FICO score and always pay more than the minimum. They did lower my rate 6 months ago from 29.9% to 26.99%, wow. I got this card after a bankruptcy brought on by my ex-wife and appreciate them giving me a card one month after it was discharged but I also curse the day I ever used the card.
Your card sucks big time. I took advantage of one of your balance transfers and my rate went from 11.9 soaring up to 23.9%. I have written numerous letters and made several phone calls to try and get this outrageous interest rated reduced. Your company only ignores me. I can not afford to even keep up with the interest let alone the principal balance. This is theft at its best. Can’t wait to get you out of my wallet.
i am looking forward to shredding this card… they don’t care, i always made my payments and ended up late a couple of times and they went from 9.9 to 28.9 they should go out of business
I have always make my payments but my %rate is to high I’m not working can you help me please to increase my credit I want to have a good credit willing to pay but it is to hard for me to make minimum payments.
I have the same problem as Pearl. I too payed well over the payment due every month. Two times I was late, once because it did not go through on the computer which I explained to them, alot of good that did! My rate doubled also.
This was my husband’s account and he passed away.
I will have to take money out of my IRA to pay this off, but it will definitely be worth it. I have already shredded the card because I have not used it.
